The Educational Development section of the Teaching and Learning Centre has skills that range across all aspects of design, production and development for interactive multimedia. In particular, we can assist you to improve the professionalism of your WebCT unit in a very cost-effective manner.
We can provide 'off-the-shelf' prices for common WebCT requirements.
There are four options. Options 1 and 2 relate to setting up a basic WebCT unit containing administrative information and communications tools only. Options 3 and 4 provide costs for more extensive services.
Option 1 - modifies the standard Murdoch WebCT template for a specific unit.
Option 2 - customises the look and feel of the template for a school, area or unit.
Option 3 - provides additional content (Study Guides and powerpoint slides) to the WebCT unit. This can be done either on a weekly basis or for the whole semester. A fixed price is applied to material within size limits. If you require additional support, this is available under option 4.
Option 4 - Additional support is available at a hourly rate.
NOTE: A dynamically generated public Unit Welcome Page is created for all units. This page includes your divisional banner, unit code and title and links to generic study information. It will contain a link to your WebCT unit when it is active.
