  • Select the radio button beside the file you would like to download
  • From the Designer Menu, select Download
  • At the Download File prompt
  • Confirm your download by selecting the Download button
  • Your browser will now prompt you to save the file to your computer.

Download Multiple Files

To download more than one file, you will need to select the files and zip them in WebCT. You can then download and unzip them on your computer. An entire folder can be zipped and one zip file will be created. This zip file can be downloaded and unzipped on your computer. You will need zipping software installed on your computer. The software is available on the Resources page.

From the Folders and Files display:

  • Select the radio button beside the files you would like to download
  • From the Designer Menu, select Zip.

  • Click the Zip button.

Your web browser will now display the Files and Folders area.

  • Check the box beside the zip file you have just created
  • In the Action Menu, select Download
  • At the Download File prompt confirm your download by selecting the Download button
  • Your browser will now prompt you to save the zip file to your computer.

Before using the downloaded files, you will need to unzip them on to your computer's hard drive using zipping software.

Do not use filenames with spaces or quotation marks e.g. "Student's Work" should be students_work, as problems can occur. Macintosh users should ensure their files have a file extension on them e.g. students_work.html.
