WebCT Student Records
The student records for your unit are held in a table (database)
organised by rows and columns. There is a row for each student and a column
for each
item of data.
The Manage Students tool is used to maintain student data and
grades in WebCT.
To view the student records for your course:
- From the Designer Links, click on the Manage
Course link
- Select Manage Students.
The students in your course are listed in a table.

Students will be listed in alphabetical order
of first name. The mail icon next to each student's name allows you to send
a WebCT email to that student. The mail icon will only appear if the Mail tool
is added to your WebCT course.
If you have a large number of students in your unit you can display the records
a page at a time. You can set up the number of students to be displayed per
page in the Change Settings option of the Organize pull-down
menu. Select the page to display from the drop down menu at the top of your
student listing.
The three pull down menus above your student listing include all the tools
needed to carry out student management functions.
