Change Student Data
Rename a Column
- Select the checkbox above the column you want to rename.
- Enter your label in the textbox beneath Change
Column label.
- Click Go.
Reordering Columns
To move a column to the left or to the right of current position:
- Select the checkbox above the column you want to reorder.
- Use the pull-down menu to select how many positions left
or right you would like to move the column.
- Click Go.
Align columns: Data
in a column can be - left, right or center aligned.
Select the column where you wish to change the alignment setting.
Select left, right or centre from the pull down menu beside Align Column
and click Go.
Hide columns: The
hide option allows the designer to hide a particular column temporarily
from view in the listing to reduce the clutter of columns.
Release columns: A column
can be selected for release to students. If the student has access
to the My Grades tool
where they are presented with their
course records, the columns that have been marked as released will be
visible to the student.
Show statistics: This
option allows you to specify if class statistics should be available
for a numeric, quiz or calculated column. The three options are:
- None - no statistics will be shown.
- All - the minimum, maximum, average and median marks will
be shown as well as a histogram of mark distribution.
- Mean Only - the average mark for the particular column
will be shown.
Show decimals: Allows
you to specify how many decimal places should be displayed for a particular
column. This option is only available for numeric, calculated and quiz
fields.
Note: In all cases, values are rounded down. For example. a
field containing the value of 75.8 would show as 75 if the decimal value for
that column was 0.
Allow self registration - This
option is not enabled.
